THE CHALLENGE
The hypothetical scenario is that you are an intern at the Pseudo Design Company and have been given the challenge to come up with a brand solution for a client. You will be in competition with the other interns and will have to pitch your idea to the lead creative. The colours, themes and product you can use will be picked from random, then you must work with your team to develop your idea.
The deliverables needed include brand guidelines, viable extensions, merchandise and a short brand story video. The company will have retail space in Spitalfields Market, so the nature of the venue is to be considered.




The words my team and I selected at random (service, travel, executive, traditional, and quality) formed the foundation of our concept. From these, we developed EC2 Travel, an executive train service offering curated experience packages.
The name draws inspiration from the Spitalfields postcode area, EC2, linking the brand to a specific location while also functioning as a subtle play on words, echoing the phrase 'easy to travel'.





Our service features a range of themed packages, including a murder mystery experience, a family-friendly mystery, jazz and cocktails, and a private chartering option. Each team member was assigned responsibility for one package; I was in charge of developing the murder mystery experience. I also took on the role of producing the brand video, which I created using After Effects, and the brand guidelines.
